Here at Walker Skips we have one simple aim – to always do our very best to meet your requirements when positioning our skips, making your job as simple and easy as possible.
We deliver 2 to 12 yard skips in Hull and East Yorkshire. Our skips are great value for money and you can be assured you will be given the best price when placing your order. Walker Skips will deal with the organisation of permits if they are required, providing a fast and effective way to clear your waste.
If you require a few skips, please let us know when ordering as we can offer bulk skip discount on some jobs and projects. We also offer cheaper prices for skips when filling with Soil, Brick or Clay.
What size skip to hire?
When hiring a skip you need to be sure that the skip is the right size, which is sometimes hard. So, to help you make a more informed decision, we’ve provided a handy guide to how much our skips will hold:
- A 2 ton skip holds up to 30 bin liners
- A 4 ton skip holds up to 60 bin liners
- A 6 ton skip holds up to 80 bin liners
- A 8 ton skip holds up to 100 bin liners

Tenfoots are not a problem for Walker Skips
A large number of the houses in Hull are built around a Tenfoot planning model making it impossible to deliver a standard sized skip on a conventional sized unit.
In response to this problem Walker Skips commissioned the conversion of a small truck that can easily deliver a skip to the Tenfoot at the rear of your property where access to entrances and space is sometimes restricted.
Our skip hire is flexible and built around your requirements, we drop off and pick up your skip and then dispose of all its waste in the correct manner.
Tips for the Skips
There are a few things that you cannot put in a skip – such as: Fridge/Freezer, Tyres, Paint Cans, TVs/Monitors, Asbestos, Medical Waste, Florescent Tubes, Solvents, Oils and any Hazardous or Toxic Waste.
